In their own words.

Amateur racing means a lot more to me than just going to the track and trying to win. It’s where I’ve grown up, made some of my best memories, met some of my closest friends, and learned so much about myself. To me, amateur racing is about the hard work that happens when nobody is watching — the early mornings, long drives, practices, bad motos, injuries, and getting back on the bike and trying again. Every race teaches me something, whether I get the result I wanted or not. I’ve been racing for a long time, and at 16, I’m starting to realize how quickly these years go by. Amateur racing has given me opportunities I never could have imagined, including qualifying for Loretta Lynn’s and racing alongside some of the best riders in the country. But more than the accomplishments, I’m thankful for the people and experiences that have come with it. Amateur racing has shaped who I am, and I know I’ll carry those lessons with me long after my amateur career is over.

In the community.

Outside of racing myself, I’m also involved in the racing community through my stepmom’s business, 2nd Hand Moto. She runs the business, which buys and sells affordable used motocross gear, and I get to help out and be involved with it. I’ve seen firsthand how much 2nd Hand Moto helps other riders and families stay involved in motocross by making gear more affordable. I enjoy helping with the business, meeting other riders and families at the track, and supporting people in the sport. Motocross has given me so much, so being able to give back in a different way through 2nd Hand Moto is something I’m really proud to be a part of.
